Real men do wear jewelry...tips on how to start and do it right

June 11th, 2019

Male bracelets actually date back to 3000 B.C. when warriors wore them to ward off evil. And let's not forget about the Super Bowl ring and the Papal ring, too! History shows us that men wearing jewelry is the picture of masculinity, but at the end of the day it's all about what's best for you.

One thing to keep in mind when choosing jewelry is to consider the best pieces for your skin tone. We all have undertones in our skin that look great with certain metals and believe it or not, the best way to determine your skin tone is to look at the veins in your wrist. If your veins are blue or purple, you have a cool skin tone that would look best with white gold, platinum or silver. Green veins indicate a warm skin tone that show off yellow and rose gold.
As with skin tone, size matters, so it's important to wear jewelry that is in proportion to your body size. There is no hard and fast rule, but at Windsor Jewelers we can help you find the right size jewelry for you. Jewelry is an enhancement to a man's outfit, so don't be afraid to experiment until you get comfortable with the right pieces that work for you.
